Nano Earth Celebration Championship Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO PLAY OR WIN.
The “Nano Earth Celebration Championship” is sponsored by 2cimple.com (“Sponsor”). This championship, and its weekly challenges are governed by these official rules (“Official Rules”). By participating in the championship each player agrees to abide by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and understands that the results of the championship, as determined by Sponsor and its agents, are final in all respects. The championship is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.
Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the promotion will be directed to Nano.
ELIGIBILITY
The Championship is open to legal residents of their respective countries where not prohibited by law, who are fourteen (14) years of age or older at the time of entry who have Internet access and a valid e-mail account prior to the beginning of the Championship Period. Sponsor has the right to verify the eligibility of each player.
WEEKLY CHALLENGE PERIOD
The Championship is a collection of weekly Challenges. Each weekly challenge begins every Friday 12:00 AM CST USA and ends each Thursday at 11:59 PM, CST USA. (“Weekly Challenge Period”). All Players (submissions) must be received on or before the time stated during that submission period. Sponsor reserves the right to extend or shorten the championship at their sole discretion.
HOW TO ENTER
You can enter the Weekly Challenge through the Nano Android and iOS mobile App. New players are automatically entered into the Earth Celebration Championship and can participate in its associated Weekly Challenges week after week. As new public or private championships become available to you, based on your geo-targeting, you can find and join them on the Champions tab in the lower navigation tray. Players must complete Nano Tasks to participate in the challenges to improve their carbon footprint and earn rewards. Players are automatically entered into weekly championships (it may take up to one hour) and may choose to switch to a new championship or team. You may join as many challenges or teams and switch championships and teams as many times as you wish at the end of the weekly challenge period.
HOW TO PLAY
Players will select any Nano Tasks active in each championship to compete in the weekly challenges. Tasks that require players to upload a photo/video to verify the completion of the task will be monitored for duplications, inappropriate content and attempts to cheat the other players using Nano’s AI verification technology, community validation and backed up with manual monitoring.
WHAT IS A PERFECT NANO TASK?
Examples:
- Commute – Must show vehicle start/stop and timestamp
- Water Refill – Must show Water bottle being refilled in shot
- Recycle – Must show Recycling bin/can and recycling item in shot
- Trash Pickup – Must show Trash bin/can and trash item in shot
- Reusable Bag – Must show a non-plastic bag (Ikea style bags are okay)
- Phantom Energy – Must show hand pulling plug from socket
- Tree Planting – Must show hole in ground with sapling/seed being planted
- Plant Based – Must show plate of food with no meat/fish on it
- Donation – Must show amount, transaction, and time stamp
- Buy Local – Must show LOCAL OWNED STORE receipt or haul with no master brand products
- Sign Petition – Must Show signature, bill and time stamp,
WHY ARE MY PHOTOS/VIDEOS BEING REJECTED?
Nano may reject/remove any incorrect image/video to protect the integrity of the nano task, the accuracy of the avoided carbon and the authentic winners on the leaderboard. Any image that is inappropriate or prohibited according to Nano terms and not reflective of the task will be removed.
Inappropriate images
- Any selfie photo and other personally identifiable information
- Photos not matching the Nano task, e.g. shot of food for the Water Refill task
Prohibited Content
1. Illegal Products or Services
Content must not constitute, facilitate, or promote illegal products, services or activities. Content targeted to minors must not promote products, services, or content that are inappropriate, illegal, or unsafe, or that exploit, mislead, or exert undue pressure on the age groups targeted.
2. Discriminatory Practices
Content must not discriminate or encourage discrimination against people based on personal attributes such as race, ethnicity, color, national origin, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, family status, disability, medical or genetic condition.
3. Tobacco Products
Content must not promote the sale or use of tobacco products and related paraphernalia.
4. Alcohol Drugs & Drug-Related Products
Content must not promote the sale or use of Alcohol and illegal, prescription, or recreational drugs.
5. Unsafe Supplements
Content must not promote the sale or use of unsafe supplements, as determined by 2Cimple in its sole discretion.
6. Weapons, Ammunition, or Explosives
Content must not promote the sale or use of weapons, ammunition, or explosives.
7. Adult Products or Services
Content must not promote the sale or use of adult products or services.
8. Adult Content
Content must not contain adult content. This includes nudity, depictions of people in explicit or suggestive positions, or activities that are overly suggestive or sexually provocative.
9. Third-Party Infringement
Content must not contain content that infringes upon or violates the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other personal or proprietary rights.
10. Sensational Content
Content must not contain shocking, sensational, disrespectful or excessively violent content.
WHY I AM BEING BLOCKED?
Players that continue to abuse the rules will be temporarily blocked and contacted by Nano support via the in-app messaging feature to help educate the proper way to play Nano.
WINNER SELECTION
All players may compete in weekly challenges and are eligible to win each week.
The winners will be the top three players in the Leaderboard by the cut-off of a weekly challenge. The winners will be announced via in-app and social media posts every Friday at or about noon CST, USA. Announcements and instructions for the prize will be sent to the e-mail address supplied on the player’s profile. Each player is responsible for monitoring his/her email account for prize notification and receipt or other communications related to each Weekly Challenge. If a potential prize winner cannot be reached by Administrator (or Sponsor) within fifteen (15) days, using the contact information provided at the time of entry, or if the prize is returned as undeliverable, that potential prize winner shall forfeit the prize. Upon the request of the Sponsor, the potential winner may be required to return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release and Prize Acceptance Form and IRS W-9 form. If a potential winner fails to comply with these official rules, that potential winner will be disqualified. Prizes may not be awarded if an insufficient number of eligible entries are received. Nano reserves the right to determine an alternate winner.
PRIZES:
Nano may change the prizes anytime to fit the championship or weekly challenges.

Incidental expenses and all other costs and expenses which are not specifically listed as part of a prize in these Official Rules, and which may be associated with the award, acceptance, receipt and use of all, or any portion of the awarded prize are solely the responsibility of the respective prize winner. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE IS SOLELY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.
ADDITIONAL LIMITATIONS
Prize is non-transferable. No substitution or cash equivalent of prizes is permitted. Sponsor and its respective parent, affiliate and subsidiary companies, agents, and representatives are not responsible for any typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of the Weekly Challenge, including, but not limited to, errors in any printing or posting or these Official Rules, the selection and announcement of any winner, or the distribution of any prize. Any attempt to damage the content or operation of this Weekly Challenge is unlawful and subject to possible legal action by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, suspend or amend the Weekly Challenge, without notice, and for any reason, including, without limitation, if Sponsor determines that the Weekly Challenge cannot be conducted as planned or should a virus, bug, tampering or unauthorized intervention, technical failure or other cause beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the Weekly Challenge. In the event any tampering or unauthorized intervention may have occurred, Sponsor reserves the right to void /remove suspect Nano Task photo/video uploads at issue. Sponsor and its respective parent, affiliate and subsidiary companies, agents, and representatives, and any telephone network or service providers, are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate player profile information, or for any human error, technical malfunction, lost or delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, line failure or malfunction of any telephone network, computer equipment or software, the inability to access any website or online service or any other error, human or otherwise.
INDEMNIFICATION AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
BY ENTERING THE WEEKLY CHALLENGE, EACH PLAYER AGREES TO INDEMNIFY, RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SPONSOR AND ITS PARENT, AFFILIATE AND SUBSIDIARY COMPANIES, ADMINISTRATOR, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL AGENCIES, AND ALL THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS FROM ANY LIABILITY, DAMAGES, LOSSES OR INJURY RESULTING IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM THAT PLAYER’S PARTICIPATION IN THE WEEKLY CHALLENGE AND THE ACCEPTANCE, USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE THAT MAY BE WON. SPONSOR AND ITS PARENT, AFFILIATE AND SUBSIDIARY COMPANIES DO NOT MAKE ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE CONDITION, FITNESS OR MERCHANTABILITY OF THE PRIZE. SPONSOR AND ITS PARENTS, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL AGENCIES, AND ALL THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS DISCLAIM ANY LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE TO ANY COMPUTER SYSTEM RESULTING FROM ACCESS TO OR THE DOWNLOAD OF INFORMATION OR MATERIALS CONNECTED WITH THE WEEKLY CHALLENGE.
PUBLICITY
By participating, each player agrees to share their success through their social media to invite others to play and grants Sponsor permission to use his/her name, likeness, or comments for publicity purposes without payment of additional consideration, except where prohibited by law.
